PRIVACY POLICY FOR WEBSITE VISITORS AND BUYERS OF INTERDENT D.O.O.O

This Privacy Policy explains in detail how we use the personal data you provide to us upon the use of the website, the service order, the purchase of products, and registration/participation in the Education Centre.

1. WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is information that directly or indirectly identifies you as an individual, whereby "indirectly" means in combination with other information, for example, your name, postal address, email address, phone number, identification number, location data or other identifiers.

If you are only visiting the Interdent website, data is only collected by using cookies. If you are a user/buyer of the company's services/products (for example, if you apply for education, make an online purchase, purchase via phone, etc.), we shall also collect other personal data that is necessary for the operation. 3. HOW DO WE USE (PROCESS) YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
All the transmitted personal data is treated confidentially and is used solely for the purpose for which they have been transmitted. Interdent has a serious approach to data security. We use an appropriate level of protection and we have established reasonable physical, electronic and administrative measures, through which we protect the collected data from unintentional or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or unauthorized access to the data that have been transferred, stored or otherwise processed. Our information protection regulations and procedures are closely linked to widely adopted international standards and are regularly reviewed and, if necessary, updated in order to comply with our business needs, changes in technology and regulatory requirements. Access to your personal data is only permitted to the service providers’ personnel, who needs the data for business reasons, or to those who need it in order to carry out their tasks.

In the event of a personal data breach, Interdent shall follow all the relevant data breach regulations.

If you have commissioned a service/product, the personal data shall be collected and processed for the conclusion and execution of the contract, i.e. the provision of ordered services/products and notification about additional details in connection with the mentioned services/products, possible changes, additional details, instructions for the use or the provision of working materials for services/products.

In the case of a subscription to the Interdent e-newsletter, your forwarded email address and name shall be processed based on the consent with a view to providing information on special offers, novelties, education and events related to Interdent.

Interdent undertakes not to sell, lend or otherwise transfer the data that you provide through websites or by any other means to third parties, except in the cases listed below and unless otherwise prescribed by the regulations.

Interdent shall only disclose your personal data to third parties under the conditions specified below; whereby it shall ensure that your personal data is processed, protected and transferred in accordance with the applicable regulations:

Outsourcers

If necessary, we shall authorize other companies and individuals to carry out certain tasks that contribute to our services. For example, we may transfer personal data to outsourcers who shall host our database, provide data processing, support services, or submit the information you requested etc. The data shall only be transmitted or made available to outsourcers to the extent required by a specific purpose. This data shall not be used for any other purpose. The outsourcers are contractually bound to respect the confidentiality of your personal data.

Business transfers

Data in connection with any reorganization, status conversion, sale or any other transfer of funds (commonly referred to as "business transfers") shall be transmitted to a reasonable extent and as necessary for the business transfer, provided that the receiving party undertakes to respect your personal data in accordance with the applicable personal data protection regulations. We shall continue to ensure the confidentiality of all personal data and to inform the affected users before the personal data becomes the subject of another privacy policy.

Public authorities

We shall only disclose your personal data to public authorities in cases where this is required by the national legislation or European Union law, e.g. Interdent shall respond to requests from courts, law enforcement and other state authorities, which may also involve the state authorities of another EU Member State.

4. LEGITIMATE INTEREST
We use your personal data based on legitimate interest in order to detect and prevent the fraudulent use and misuse of services or subscriptions to services, in the context of ensuring the stable operation of our system and services, for the purposes of implementing information security measures, meeting service quality requirements and discovering technical system and service failures.
Based on legitimate interest, we also use your personal data for the purposes of any enforcement, judicial and extrajudicial recovery.
5. YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The data subject may request from Interdent access to personal data, correction, deletion or restriction of personal data processing, and shall have the right to object to the processing and transferability of his/her personal data.

The right to be informed: You have the right to be informed of whether or not your personal data is being processed and, if that is the case, you have the right to access your personal data and the right to obtain the following information: (a) the purposes of processing; (b) the categories of personal data concerned; (c) the users or categories of users to whom the personal data has been or will be disclosed; (d) the envisaged period of retention of personal data or, if that is not possible, the criteria used to determine that period; (e) in cases when the personal data was not collected from you, all available information relating to their source.

The right to rectification: You have the right to correct inaccurate personal data relating to you and, upon taking into account the purposes of the processing, the right to supplement incomplete personal data.

The right to deletion: You have the right to have your personal data deleted when one of the following reasons applies:

(a) personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed; (b) when you withdraw the consent based on which the processing is carried out and when no other legal basis exists for the processing; (c) when you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate reasons for the processing; (d) the personal data has been processed unlawfully.

The right to restrict processing: You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data when one of the following reasons applies:

(a) when disputing the accuracy of the data, after a period to allow us to verify the accuracy of personal data; (b) the processing is unlawful and you oppose to the deletion of personal data and, instead, request a restriction on their use; (c) we no longer need your personal data for processing purposes, but you need it to establish, enforce or defend legal claims; (d) if you have filed an objection concerning the processing based on the legitimate interests of Interdent until it is verified whether our legitimate reasons override your reasons.

Where the processing of your personal data has been restricted in accordance with the preceding paragraph, this personal data, with the exception of their storage, shall be processed only with your consent or for the establishment, enforcement or defence of legal claims or the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person.

Prior to the cancellation of your personal data processing restriction, we shall be obliged to inform you thereof.

The right to data transferability: You have the right to receive the personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, widely used and machine-readable form, and the right to forward this data to another controller if the processing is based on your consent or is carried out with automated means. At your request, when technically feasible, personal data may be transferred directly to another controller.

The right to object: You may object to the processing of your data at any time based on a legitimate interest for marketing purposes.

The right to file a complaint with the Information Commissioner: If we fail to decide on your request within the legal deadline or reject your request, you have the possibility to file a complaint with the Information Commissioner.

6. ACCESS TO AND CORRECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND THE EXERCISE OF OTHER RIGHTS
As a user of the Interdent website or a buyer of Interdent d.o.o. services/products, you have the right to verify whether Interdent processes your personal data, and to access your personal data that is being stored or processed (in this case, we will forward them to you as a machine-readable PDF document). You may make a request for the correction of inaccurate personal data at any time. If you consider that there is no longer any justified reason for the further use or processing of your personal data, please inform us thereof; however, you should bear in mind that certain personal data collected under the Value Added Tax Act should not be deleted. You also have the right to restrict the use of your personal data in cases when you challenge the accuracy of personal data, believe that the processing is unlawful but do not want to delete the data, and when the personal data is no longer needed for the purpose of processing but you need them to enforce legal claims. In the case of a subscription to the e-newsletter, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

For the possible exercise of your described rights, please send us your request in writing, by e-mail to u.gradisnik@interdent.cc (Urša Gradišnik). The responsible person shall respond to your request within the prescribed period of 15 days. In the case of complexity and a greater number of requirements, the deadline may be extended by up to two months, about which you will be informed.

7. RETENTION OF DATA
Interdent shall store the personal data received from you until deregistration.
Interdent shall store data relating to purchases made pursuant to the provisions of the tax regulations (10 years after the service/purchase).
Interdent shall not delete the data it needs to provide proof that it has deleted data about the person (i.e., the audit trail), and it keeps records of persons who do not want Interdent to contact them in the future. This data includes their e-mail address, name and surname.
8. COOKIES
The Interdent website uses “cookies” – small files that are saved on your computer when you visit the site and that facilitate further website visits. With the settings in your browser, you can decide whether or not to accept "cookies".
If you do not accept cookies, some websites may not be displayed correctly, or you will not be able to access all the information or functionality of the web pages; however, the acceptance of cookies shall not constitute a requirement for using the Interdent website.

USER_ALLOWED_SAVE_COOKIE Indicates whether a customer allowed to use cookies.

WISHLIST An encrypted list of products added to your Wishlist.
WISHLIST_CNT The number of items in your Wishlist.
FACEBOOK Duration: 180 days. We use the Facebook Pixel to understand conversion tracking, for optimisation and remarketing purposes.

Interdent reserves the right to change, update and amend its Privacy Policy at its sole discretion at any time; therefore, we encourage you to regularly review this Privacy Policy. Interdent shall notify you about changes to these Privacy Policies by email only in the case of significant changes affecting the processing of personal data.
